Guest Bedroom #2...

Another room in progress...

I had this vintage bamboo headboard re-painted to this maybe "dusty brown" color...to go with this fabric below (the colors really do go well with each other...just not so much in these images)...

Premier Prints

...this houndstooth is for the window treatments...that have been ordered and will be turned into relaxed roman shades by a wonderful seamstress I found...like this look...

...I am using one of my vintage petite chests that has been re-painted in a white...as a side table...with 2 shell lamps in a gourd shape...

...then adding this large sisal rug...I found on overstock which is a perfect size for the room...

...and a vintage tole chandelier in white...which still needs to be brought over from the old house (the below is an example)...

...still working on the accent color...a sweet potato orange is coming to mind...and a skirted settee or skirted bench for the end of the bed...

Happy Thursday!
Caroline

I love it. What a lovely headboard. It looks like the room will be bathed in a delicious flax linen!

You are such a talent, do you know that. Love how you describe the color orange you are going for. I think it would be perfect.
