Just added!

...just added these 2 faux bamboo re-finished bookcase/cabinets...they came out so nicely!!

I have to add a few pieces of hardware today to one of the cabinets and the asian-inspired vintage desk in the center...

I had a great time hearing Charlotte Moss speak on Friday...one of the lines that I have taken to heart that she said was..."Why Not?"...and I will write more about it this upcoming week!

Take care,
Caroline

Hey Nashville: The Antiques and Garden Show

...is happening this weekend at the Nashville Convention Center...click here for details...

Today, I am looking forward to going with my mother-in-law to hear Charlotte Moss talk...

...and then going to the Collectors' Party this evening...Carolyn Englefield (Veranda Editor-at-Large) and Suzanne Kasler will be guiding a tour of the show floor for this party.

If you are in town-- it is a wonderful show!

Happy Friday!

Side tables...sold and new!

...so both round metal side tables have found new homes!!  I have just put in a few more oyster votive holders...as they went quickly too!

I hope to bring in 2 of the above glass-topped metal branch side tables in this week- in replacement of the sold metal tables...

I am working on this side a bit more...I need to hide the lighting cords...but just wanted to show the process!

Happy Wednesday!

New delivery...

...the re-finisher just delivered another truck full of furniture-- and the above bamboo chair (and 3 more of them) were in it.  The pillow on it is not the one that will stay-- I think I am going to have 4 turquoise/blue pillows made for them...but will sell the chairs individually.

Now my early morning picture taking and styling will pale in comparison to the below-- just wanted to show that they are perfect...

as a desk chair

or a side chair as in this well known Palmer Weiss design....

...and you can easily change out the cushions as they are not upholstered to the piece...

A busy weekend!

...just a few more pictures from this past weekend at my little store...

*One of the round metal tables has sold, there is one more left at $80.00*
*Both oyster shell votive holders have sold (8.00/each), but should be re-stocked soon!
...the oyster shell votive holders went very quickly, but I ordered some more...

...love collections of milk glass mixed with other white pieces!

...still working on this side...

Happy Monday!

Just wanted to show a few more...

...pictures of the new space- now that I have moved into both sides!

There is still more to do...but it is all starting to get there...

...the gorgeous gilded mirror has already sold (which was over the settee)...so I have replaced it with this vintage gilded mirror!

Happy Sunday!

Peek at the new space!

It is still under "construction"...but half of the space is starting to shape up!

...love this vintage mirror over the professionally re-upholstered vintage settee...

...these saffron lamps...blended so well!!  They just came in from an order at market!

...the vintage faux bamboo nesting tables and...

the vintage faux bamboo round side table were in such good condition and loved their finish...so I kept them as is...

I have a lot of new shell items...

...and these driftwood lamps with burlap shades are one of my favorite items!

This part of the more finished space still needs some sprucing up...but wanted to show the rattan/metal hanging lights...

...the coffee table with the resin antler taper holders-- they went so quickly over the summer so I decided to bring them back!

Also...the shell wine stoppers would be another great hostess gift!

...I have 2 of these light brown and white shells...loved the look of them!

...the one area that is fairly done...I will be hanging some pendent lights over the settee, hopefully today!

...and you can see the other side that is going to be painted today and then I will moving into that part on Saturday!

Happy Friday!
Caroline
