Hey Nashville! A Pagoda at Gas Lamp and an Estate Sale...

Andrew Raquet
Mary McDonald
Mary McDonald

...love these white pagodas!

The other day at Gas Lamp I spotted this for $49.00....

...and instantly thought of Mary McDonald's Vintage Pagoda collection...

...just paint the one at Gas Lamp white and you have such a fun accent to a room!

...had to add this Mary McDonald design in that I have always admired...the pagodas are on top of the armoire...love all the white furniture and green upholstery!

If you are up for an Estate Sale this weekend...Patterson Estate and Moving Sales seems to have a good one in Brentwood this Friday and Saturday from 9 am- 2 pm...

6023 Johnson Chapel Road
Brentwood, TN 37027

I spied...

...this large white decorative birdcage-- which could be used just like the white pagodas...

Happy Thursday!

Caroline

I just put a vintage birdcage in my office, it looks great with my palm tree wallpaper. http://blog.spotsandstripes.com.au/2010/10/chinoiserie-wallpaper-in-office.html

Adore pagodas! They are Charlotte Moss' hallmark...and I remember being bowled over when I saw them on the curtains that hung in the Charlotte Moss Townhouse in NYC. I still mourn the fact that she closed it - was such a fabulous place. I've saved boxes from there - gray with the white pagodas. Gorgeous!

I have looked at that Mary McDonald dining room so many times, and never noticed the pagoda! I love seeing familiar rooms in new ways.
