I have a little West Highland Terrier named Tuffy (Sir Tuffington McDuff- is his full name)...so I love incorporating dogs into my decor!
...like Eileen Kathryn Boyd did with this dog portrait above her fireplace...
...or this Westie statue in Trip Haenisch's design...
...or in Lee Kleinhelter's previous home (the dog is by the fireplace)...
...or finally...up front in the living room...
....I found a great supplier of these pieces...and love the idea of them...right outside the front door...flanking the fireplace or in a nice cozy spot in the living room!
...they should arrive mid to late February...
Happy Monday!

I have one of these on my front porch and I love him- very charming!
I have a biggish concrete dog on my kitchen island. Love them!
Love the dog statues particularly in plain stone. I was considering one for my garden where he is holding a basket that could be filled with flowers.
I had a neighbour that had a large dog statue on her front porch, looked just like the tall lean grey hound one, but was spray painted a dark lavender. I really couldn't decide if I liked it or not...I liked the dog, but the color was a tad garish. But, hey if she liked it that is all that matters. Hope you had a wonderful wonderful weekend!!! xx Danielle
Our large yellow lab named Avalanche contributes to the decor constantly with her dog hair. Hmmm, a concrete dog would not shed!
Happy Monday!

I'm been trying to track down that Westie from Trip's photo for years. I thought it may have been done by Rem Koolhaas. In the meantime, I've bought my Mum a gorgeous poochie statute (and he holds a newspaper in his mouth).
Love the dog statues! My boys are BEGGING for a dog....and we're tossing around names for our "someday dog".
Maybe one of these can be a placeholder.

stumbled across your blog while searching for a concrete statue of a boxer that i could place outside my home. you mention you found a supplier in this post, can you share who that is? i'm having the worst time finding a boxer, especially one somewhat lifesize! i appreciate any info you can give me!
