On Sunday, I participated in the 5th annual National Epilepsy Walk put on by the Epilepsy Foundation of America in Washington, DC.
...I don't think I have shared this, but I work part-time for the Epilepsy Foundation here in Nashville as their education coordinator-- meaning, I go into schools and organizations and educate teachers/employers/people about epilepsy so they can be more knowledgeable and accepting of this very common medical condition!
I went to the walk with and in support of a friend with epilepsy and we had such an inspiring time!
It is so amazing to see how far the treatment for epilepsy has grown over the past 20 years and what can be developed over the next 20 years- if the researchers continue to receive funding and those who have epilepsy continue to receive our support, acceptance and encouragement!
...back to the store later today...just wanted to share my weekend happenings!
Take care,
Caroline

Good for you, Caroline! That's a wonderful thing to do. Did you get to do much sightseeing? DC is my old stomping grounds...miss it.
What a wonderful thing to do and so rewarding. I run races for the luekemia society yearly for my mom.
Looking forward to your post Wednesday.
Take Care,
