Love this idea from this month's House Beautiful...Nick Olsen put a desk at the end of the bed in a room he designed...instead of the usual settee, bench or stools...

I just bought this desk from a local estate sale...
...sorry for the i-phone picture from the estate sale...but you hopefully can get the idea of it! I can totally see it at the end of a bed...

i think it is a great idea as long as the bed is the right height for it. i looove that first room- so eclectic and fun!
I agree with Cassie the desk would have to be the same hight or a bit shorter to work. I loved this picture when I saw it. I would really be up too late on pinterest if I had a desk at the end of my bed ;)
