...going to lunch and then some estate sale shopping with a friend today!  Yesterday, the china cabinet in my little store sold...so we will be bringing in even more newly painted vintage pieces on Friday and Saturday!  Such as...

...and some ikat pillows....once the inserts arrive...hopefully today!!

Something I bought...

...just bought this huge faux bamboo mirror at one of my favorite consignment stores in Nashville...Clearing House Consignments on Page Road...I feel like I post about them all the time!  They are having a big sale and I got this faux bamboo mirror that I have had my eye on for a long time!

I can't wait to share some good news with you all as to why I bought it!

A little Palm Beach in Nashville!

On Saturday morning I went estate sale shopping with my good friend Sarah-- who is a fabulous interior designer!  

We went to this estate sale put on by Patterson Estate and Moving Sales...the sale was in the West Meade area of Nashville...and when I saw the light above...I was in love!  Until I looked on the other side of the tag and saw a NFS (not for sale)....

However, I had to show you a picture of the grassy green shag carpet....she actually had a rake and raked this carpet!  It was quite impressive and so Palm Beach chic for that time!

I think if I knew her we would have a lot in common!

I did find a bamboo settee that I have not taken a picture of yet...but the painter came back with lots of the newly painted furniture-- and here are a few pics...

...the campaign dresser I found in South Carolina!

This Little Light...

...saw this at one of my favorite consignment stores...Clearing House Consignments...on Page Road in Nashville and just adored it!

I usually don't go for quotes around the home like this-- but this one was different...how perfect would it be for a little child's room!

Today...

...I guess the system I write this blog on was down this morning...but that gave me time to shoot some pictures of a few new items in my booth...like the blue vintage reader digest books above...love the pattern on the covers!

...I brought in some more seashell place card holders!

...and the side table that these boxers were hiding out under sold yesterday...so they are now under the claw foot coffee table!

I have also re-stocked most of my shell items today!

A few items at the store...

...love these yellow lemon salt and pepper shakers...and the greek key border on these vintage plates is a nice touch!

...I just added the light blue/green lamp with a new drum shade...it has a partner in crime that will be in soon!  

The pillows above have also just been added....the fabric is courtesy of a friend I have met through my little store...

...I have several sets of these shell place card holders that are such a nice touch to a summer party!  I have one customer who has bought a couple sets of them to use for their daughter's wedding this summer-- such a wonderful idea!

...it is so fun to hear about how customers are using some of the items they bought!

We have some new friends...

I also finally have a decent picture of my home-- that is not dark, yellow or some other color than what it is!

These guys are going to stay here for awhile...but I have several both small and large figurines in the little store now!

I also am starting to work on my A Flair for Vintage Decor facebook page...so please check that out!  It will showcase all the new items as they come in...

Oh, a pair of those pillows on my couch will be going into the store today...20" x 20" with a down insert!

...these are a few wallpapers I have put in my files to possibly use in our 1/2 baths...I was inspired to look back at the ones I saved for our home re-model after reading Carrie's wallpaper process posts at Hazardous Designs...

I adore pattern and color in powder rooms and in closets (small spaces)....  

Meg Braff Wallpaper: Brighton Your Pavillion in Jungle on White

...our other walls will be white (surprise:) or a pearl colored grasscloth...I love white backdrops in larger rooms!

...then while perusing Cote de Texas...I saw the image below again...which reminded me of my love for these silk/taffeta style drapes...I hope to have them all over the place...just like this!  

...puddling on the floor and so full!  

Oh, and we are about to embark on the landscaping plan...we are thinking about doing a mix of hardscape and grass like the below...

...I am trying to get back into my regular routine after time away on vacation...this evening I am speaking to parents of children with epilepsy-- I hope it goes well:)
