What I found....

Isn't this Estate Horse Statue so sophisticated?  This piece is located in a wonderful booth in the Franklin Antique Mall!

As you can see with my blog and booths, I love to go with a clean, white semi-gloss look with my re-furbished vintage furniture to make the pieces feel fresh and up to date!
...my booth at Gas Lamp Antiques...

But I think it is very important to add truly aged pieces like the Estate Horse Statue or the Vintage Elephant Stand (see below)....into the whole decor scheme!

....a vintage ceramic elephant plant stand/side table in my Franklin and Gas Lamp Booths....

The Estate Horse Statue would add some muted tones to colorful pillows/fabrics and would give that authentically aged feeling, which is a wonderful contrast to cleanly painted vintage furniture.  When you mix and match decor styles you can achieve a very charming, collected and layered feel.

The Estate Horse Statue would also look great in the popular "Belgian" look that you can find in many magazines, design blogs...and especially now in Restoration Hardware!

....and any type of horse figurine...gives such a sophisticated touch!

Oh, this picture did not turn out well!!   But these Foo Dogs are located at another great booth at the Franklin Antique Mall.

I love, love, love small Asian-inpsired touches to any decor look!  Foo dogs are great to incorporate as book-ends (as they are here), as a lamp or as a little figurine on a table.

I really love these book-ends since they inject a nice color...a fun turquoise that is not too bright and not too muted...so they would work well with many different color schemes!

I also love having an Asian-inspired "find" dotted in a room here and there...it especially gives traditional decor a nice updated twist without having to update everything!

The above Asian-inspired coffee table is on the Nashville Craigslist....for $145.00...a great price!

...another fun Asian-inspired touch is a bamboo piece (or in this case a metal bamboo-inspired tray table)...which is in my booth at the Franklin Antique Mall...for $130.00.

The Estate Horse Statue and the Foo Dog Book Ends are in some wonderful booths at the Franklin Antique Mall in Franklin, Tennessee...and at very reasonable prices!

Enjoy!

Caroline

Hi Caroline! I have missed your comment section - glad it's back up! All great finds, I especially love the coffee table. I am in the process of moving to a new space - have been painting, packing, etc. We will talk this week. Your space looks great - glad to hear it's going well!
