A few of my favorite things from this week...
1. If you follow this blog...you know I love a table-skirt with box pleat detailing...Chinoiserie Chic has a great post this week on an updated table-skirt look! Click here...
A small bar stocked with vintage glassware reflects Weisbarth’s fondness for pieces with soul. “I love vintage, but it doesn’t matter to me if items are old or new, as long as they have character."

Flowers...
Verandah House |
The weather is really nice here in Nashville...so it has been fun picking up a few flowers at the grocery store and arranging them around the home! Here are just a few inspiring images that caught my eye...

The "new" upholstered bench...
This piece just arrived back from the upholsterer...and used to look like...
...I kept it simple/tailored...and love the little hints of the sea blue velvet fabric.
We will see about the white fabric...with a seven month old! I did use a Sunbrella white fabric...and added the velvet blue for the trim/details. I just could not get passed the tailored white look here with the gallery wall behind it...
Next up is the gallery wall, which is sort of behind the bench...in the stairwell...
...I have had custom blue mats created by Auld Alliance Gallery (they are located right next to my store) here in Nashville. The mats will go in the large white Ribba frames from Ikea.
I think it will be a great way to pop the blue color and perfect for pulling the eye upwards....and will be the main focal point.
Now, I just have to pick the images and hang 10 of them...which may be daunting as it is a very tall/large wall...
Here is the chandy...
It still needs a chain cover....
Finally, this is the relaxed roman shade in the stairway window...
