Just a little peek at some of the vintage items that have been sanded, primed and painted...now sitting in my "office"...and also some pics of what they looked like at the beginning...just a month ago!
I am having a few more of the finished pieces delivered this morning!
They should be in the "little stores" starting Saturday, August 7th!
A large portion of our time at Market was spent looking for the perfect home fragrance line for A Flair for Vintage Decor.
We went by the several home fragrance lines and smelled, sniffed and asked loads of questions...but it came down to a cute, but sophisticated new line by NEST Fragrances....calledsprig.
Loved the colors and fabulous packaging (of course!)...but most importantly all the scents were really nice, re-freshing and sophisticated...and since we want to try new things....A Flair for Vintage Decor will be carryingsprigand we just received the first batch of...
"Blue hydrangea and Casablanca lily are combined with the bold essence of Persian melon and fresh aquatic notes."
"Night blooming jasmine, French mimosa and white lychee are enveloped with warm notes of white musk and blonde woods."
Honeysuckle and Bitter Orange
"The sweet nectar of honeysuckle combined with the floralcy of paperwhites is accentuated with bitter orange and sun-drenched mandarin."
Avocado and Olive
"The aroma of Mediterranean olive and avocado is combined with the essence of lemon, vine-ripened tomato and garden herbs."
....a perfect scent for the kitchen!!
They all make for fantastic gifts or fabulous scents for your own everyday living!
Hope to have them in the "little stores" by mid August!
Just loved these pillows when I saw them on the 1st day at market...and could not forget about them the whole time!
...you will see some "check marks" next to a few that we liked while looking over everything in the evenings at the hotel!
Luckily, before we left their store on the first day...we wrote down where the store was located and in which building...if we had not done this the store would have been lost to us-- and we most likely would never be able to find them again!
Nothing else we saw the next few days compared from a quality standpoint...so we went back and ordered some for the A Flair for Vintage Decorstore!
Most of them are 100% linen and all have down inserts that come with them-- such wonderful quality and they will add the perfect pop of color to any room!
...also, they are at an amazing price point!
I am also hoping to develop some custom pillows here in Nashville for the booth...more to come on that soon!
Love these new bags from Lug that I found this past weekend at the Atlanta Home Furnishings and Gift Market....my order (of several styles and colors for the A Flair for Vintage Decor store ) should arrive in the next couple of weeks!
Also, picked up the first batch of re-finished vintage furniture...they came out perfectly-- pictures to come soon!
So I saw two of these adorable elephant stands at the monthly Tennessee State Flea Market....I usually breeze thru on Sunday afternoon right before the dealers start to pack up...to see what kind of deals I can snag...and I could not pass these up!
Can't wait to showcase them in one of my booths come August...with my newly refreshened pieces of painted vintage furniture (first set went to the painter this past Saturday) combined with new pillows, picture frames and small vintage finds!
In the works is a side blog to this one- that will also have all my items for sale with descriptions...can't wait!
A Flair for Vintage Decor is all about putting forth a fantastic mix of refreshened vintage finds fused with new decor accessories to create a home filled with happiness and inspiration...and a little bit of flair!
